Niger Delta Youths task Buhari, Akpabio on NDDC forensic report
Youths in the Niger Delta region on Sunday called on stakeholders in the country to make greater efforts to support the development plan of the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio.

At an expanded assembly in Warri, the Niger Delta youths urged President Muhammadu Buhari to take time to study the report of the NDDC forensic audit and implement to the letter all recommendations made by the panel.
They commended Akpabio for carrying out truly profound ground-breaking changes aimed at bringing about far-reaching improvement of the conditions of the people in the region.

A statement by the President of the Niger Delta Youth Vanguard (NDYV), Dr. Timothy Amaku praised Akpabio for paying greater attention to the development of road network in the region, maintaining all round cooperation with the stakeholders and coming out with new ideas, alternatives and prospects for Niger Delta development.
The statement underscored Akpabio’s ingenuity, depth of commitment and the realistic nature of the policies of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs.
The Niger Delta youths described the action of the leaders of Anioma Youth Forum Worldwide as mischievous.
‘’The position of Nnamdi Ofonye, Frank Odum and Ekwukwo Elvis runs counter to the interests of the Niger Delta people and expands the frontiers of the enemies of progress in the region.. It contributes not only to stagnation but retrogression and underdevelopment’’
The statement also emphasized the needs of the region, Akpabio’s effective response to the Niger Delta situation and deep commitment to peace.
‘’NDDC has begun to have a positive impact on several communities in the Niger Delta region’’ the statement said.
